The roots of BSH can be traced in early 2000’s when two friends, Chris Simpsons (British) and
Bill Ndambu (Kenyan) started a small business that specialized in First Aid Kits Supplies and Trainings in Kenya, Nairobi industrial area. Not knowing the course of their business, many industrial customers
continually started making enquiries about personal protective equipment and apparels which sparked the idea of consolidating Protective gears. Medical Institutions also became another set of interested clients in our products. With time, we started importing more Medical PPE and medical players became frequent customers for Medical safety consumables. Our continued importation of top quality PPE, integrity and customer focus drew us to one of the biggest and reputable Oil and gas Operator in the East African region. With our dedicated service to them, it opened more business across the oil and gas industry.
Not only has our growth come from Manufacturing industries, medical clients or Oil and gas players,
today we continue to serve clients from governmental ministries, Non-Governmental Institutions (NGOs),
Private firms ranging from offices, farms etc. With growing client needs, and with new development of
technology and discoveries on Safety products, Bixtron Safety Handlers makes commitment to grow
the brand, continually train and motivate its own staff to offer supreme customer service to our clients, and uphold ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018 standards to ensure health and safety standards within our own environment and improve that of our clients.
BSH’s Impeccable growth has also been witnessed in that 14 years’ window as we have broadened our
product lines, from Supplies of PPE for both Manufacturing Industries and Medical institutions to
designing occupational health and Safety programs including consultancies on environmental assessments, Industrial Safety audits, to offering Industrial-based Health and Safety trainings. We
also Support and prepare institutions to acquire ISO certifications. BSH takes pride in being one of the
giant East African Occupational Health and Safety Solutions provider, offering Integrated OSH solutions
from PPE to OSH consultancies with Over $3,00,000 turn-over, over 200 industrial clients, over 2,000
medical clients, over 10 Oil and gas Institutions in the East African region and over 3000 others not in these categories. The company has over 40 full time employees and 100 casual workers.
